LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, July 23, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- iFX EXPO International 2025, one of the most prominent events in the online trading and financial technology calendar, took place last week in Limassol, Cyprus. The three-day event, held from 17th to 19th June at the City of Dreams Mediterranean Integrated Resort, attracted thousands of professionals from the global fintech and finance sectors. Among the participating companies was OpenPayd, a leading provider of embedded financial infrastructure, which joined the international audience to discuss market trends and present its latest solutions.

Established as a major fixture for brokers, service providers, technology vendors and regulatory bodies, iFX EXPO International consistently draws large numbers of attendees and exhibitors. This year’s event was no exception, welcoming over 5,000 participants from more than 120 countries, alongside a showcase of over 140 companies offering products and services across payments, liquidity, compliance and software.

The expo featured a range of panel sessions, keynote speeches and fireside chats addressing contemporary themes such as AI in fintech, cybersecurity, payment innovation, and the regulatory outlook in global markets. With speakers from established institutions including the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, Microsoft, and the Payments Association, the programme combined technical insight with broader strategic debate.
OpenPayd took part in the event to demonstrate its banking-as-a-service platform, which enables digital businesses to integrate banking and payment functionalities into their operations via a single API. Throughout the expo, OpenPayd engaged with a broad cross-section of attendees, from emerging fintechs to established trading firms exploring infrastructure partnerships.

Ben Mason, Head of Sales at OpenPayd, described the company’s presence at the event as a constructive opportunity to engage with the market. “The conversations we had in Cyprus confirmed that embedded finance and stablecoins continue to gain momentum,” he said. “More and more firms are now looking beyond traditional banking rails and are seeking scalable, programmable infrastructure that fits the pace and complexity of digital business.”
He added, “There’s growing awareness that customer expectations are changing rapidly. Real-time payments, seamless onboarding, and automation are becoming the norm. The companies we spoke to are keen to offer these services but need the right infrastructure to deliver them effectively.”
Beyond the exhibition hall, iFX EXPO provided a series of networking events, including its well-known welcome and night parties, designed to foster relationship-building among industry peers. These informal gatherings allowed for continued dialogue around potential collaborations and shared challenges.

OpenPayd’s attendance at iFX EXPO Cyprus 2025 reflected a broader trend of infrastructure providers playing an increasingly prominent role in the evolution of financial services. As embedded finance becomes more mainstream, the demand for platforms that can simplify complexity and ensure regulatory compliance is expected to increase. Through participation in events such as iFX EXPO, OpenPayd continues to position itself as a key player in supporting the next generation of financial technology solutions.

Data Foundation President Discusses Government Data Trust and Crime Statistics on CNN This Morning

CNN This Morning on 8/21/2025Data FoundationICYMI: Nick Hart calls for radical transparency to build trust in federal data amid debate over crime, labor statistics WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, August 21, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Nick Hart, President and CEO of the Data Foundation, called for greater government transparency in data collection and reporting during an appearance on CNN This Morning with Audie Cornish today (full segment), emphasizing that federal agencies must proactively earn public trust rather than expect it."It's not incumbent on the American people to automatically trust government's data," Hart said during the segment discussing crime statistics and federal data reliability. "It's incumbent on government to prove why the American people and businesses should trust that data. So we need better transparency about government data." Hart's appearance came amid ongoing debates about crime data and federal reporting, where he emphasized the need for political leaders and the public to have confidence in government data sources. "When our political leaders don't trust the numbers, it's a little bit of a problem," Hart said. Hart briefly explained the complexity of crime data collection, noting that while crime underreporting is a legitimate concern, robust systems exist to address this challenge. However, the multiple systems can lead to varying interpretations of crime trends. He highlighted the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey as an example of how federal agencies work to capture both reported and unreported incidents through household surveys. At the local level, Washington, D.C. also maintains decades of open data on crime reports for citizens through its website opendata.dc.gov. Key Points from Hart's Appearance: --The importance of understanding different data sources and their methodologies when evaluating statistics --Recognition that crime underreporting exists, but federal agencies have established mechanisms to account for this through comprehensive surveys --The need for government to proactively build trust through transparency rather than expecting automatic acceptance of data Hart also addressed broader concerns about data trust in government, referencing his experience at the White House Office of Management and Budget and emphasizing the Trump administration's previous commitment to federal data transparency through the 10-Year Federal Data Strategy that the White House under President Trump first established in 2019. In follow-up comments, Hart emphasized that effective transparency goes beyond simply making datasets available online, requiring agencies to proactively address potential concerns about data accuracy through comprehensive disclosure of how information is collected, processed, and updated. The appearance comes as the Data Foundation continues its mission to promote accessible, trustworthy data and evidence-informed public policy across all levels of government. K. Gawkowski: Polska w cyfrowej transformacji gospodarki awansowała do pierwszej ligi w Europie. 2,8 mld zł z KPO jeszcze ten proces przyspieszy

Pacjenci mogą stracić dostęp do wyrobów ratujących życie

Infrastruktura

Nowe przepisy o ochronie ludności cywilnej wprowadzają obowiązkowe elastyczne zbiorniki na wodę. Mają one służyć w razie suszy, pożarów czy wybuchu wojny

Samorządy będą musiały posiadać m.in. elastyczne zbiorniki na wodę pitną i przenośne magazyny wody przeciwpożarowej.
