Native Americans & Italian Americans to Hold Next 'Solidarity Session – Bridging Cultures Against Cancel Culture'

Guest speaker to be featured at next Solidarity Session 7/22/25 8 PM EDT

NORTHVALE, NJ, UNITED STATES, July 15, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Italian American One Voice Coalition (“IAOVC”), and The Native American Guardian’s Association (“NAGA”), announce the next collaborative session bringing Native American, Italian American and other communities together to oppose the pervasive threat of cancel culture. These “Solidarity Sessions – Bridging Cultures Against Cancel Culture” foster understanding, promote dialogue and build solidarity among diverse groups facing challenges from cultural erasure and historical revisionism.

Starting last March, these monthly Sessions have forged a milestone alliance among NAGA, Italian American organizations and other groups. Each virtual Session includes discussions of challenges being addressed to counter cancel culture and features a guest speaker. This month’s guest speaker is Kerry J. Byrne, former NFL analyst (SI.com, NFL Films) and major-media news reporter (NY Post, Fox News) who has focused on US history, American culture and media bias. He has consistently opposed and exposed the intellectual fraud behind racist cancel-culture and its war on Christopher Columbus and Native American imagery. His recent reporting, in conjunction with NAGA, is a major reason why a movement is afoot to un-cancel the Washington Redskins.

Byrne will discuss the reasons why cancel culture has attacked Columbian and Indian imagery so aggressively and why it poses an existential threat to the US itself. Italian and Native Americans must join together in common cause to defend their individual cultural heritage, Byrne argues, for the stability and future of the USA.

Cancel culture has increasingly become a concerning phenomenon in today's society. It often overlooks the complexities of history and cultural context, leading to silencing of voices and erasure of important narratives.

Native American and Italian American communities share a common experience of marginalization and misrepresentation. Both have faced historical injustices and stereotypes that continue to impact their communities today. By joining forces, they aim to confront the harmful effects of cancel culture and reclaim their narratives.
